Emmett Realty Group (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a real estate team brokered by Virtual Properties Realty (Broker H-31589). This policy explains what information we collect through www.emmettrealtygroup.com and the team tools we use to serve clients, including the Emmett Realty Group Command Center, and how we use and protect it.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you fill out a form, request a home value or equity report, schedule an appointment, call, text, or email us, we collect what you share, such as your name, email, phone number, property address, and details about your home search or sale.
- Transaction information. If you work with us, we keep records needed to represent you, such as property details, important dates, offers, and documents related to your purchase, sale, or lease.
- Website usage. Like most websites, we use cookies and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (pages viewed, general location, device type). This information does not identify you by name.
How we use your information
- To respond to your questions and requests.
- To help you buy, sell, or lease a home, including preparing documents and coordinating with lenders, attorneys, inspectors, and other parties to your transaction.
- To send you information you asked for or that relates to your real estate goals, such as market updates or helpful reminders. You can opt out at any time.
- To meet legal, licensing, and brokerage record-keeping requirements.
- To improve our website and services.
Text messages and calls
If you give us your phone number and agree to be contacted, we may call or text you about your inquiry or real estate goals. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving messages, or ask us to stop calling. We do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only when needed to serve you or when required:
- With our brokerage, Virtual Properties Realty, and the Emmett Realty Group agent assigned to you.
- With parties to your transaction, such as lenders, closing attorneys, inspectors, appraisers, and the other side’s agent, as needed to complete it.
- With service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting, email, scheduling, e-signature, and transaction management services (for example, Lone Wolf TransactionDesk). They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- When required by law, regulation, or legal process.
Google account connections
Our agents may choose to connect their own Google account to the Emmett Realty Group Command Center so they can copy client contact details into their Google Contacts for use in our transaction and signing software. When an agent connects:
- We request access to their Google Contacts only to create or update contacts for clients they are already working with, grouped under a “TransactionDesk” label, and their Google email address only to show which account is connected.
- We do not read, sell, or share other contacts in their Google account, and we do not use Google data for advertising.
- Access is stored securely and encrypted, and the agent can disconnect at any time in the Command Center or from their Google Account settings.
Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy ↗, including its Limited Use requirements.
How we protect information
We limit access to client information to the team members who need it. In our Command Center, each agent can see only the clients and transactions assigned to them. We use secure, encrypted connections and reputable service providers. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
How long we keep information
We keep information as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and brokerage record-keeping requirements, then delete or securely archive it.
Your choices
- Ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you.
- Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link, or texts by replying STOP.
- Turn off cookies in your browser settings.
Some records may need to be kept to meet legal or brokerage requirements even if you ask us to delete them.
Children’s privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
