There is no magic number
Some buyers recognize the right fit quickly. Others need several tours to understand what their budget and priorities look like in real homes. The goal is not to reach an arbitrary count—it is to make a decision with enough context.
What to learn from each showing
- Which features genuinely affect daily life?
- What compromises are acceptable?
- How does condition affect cost and timing?
- How quickly are well-matched homes moving?
When you may be ready
You can explain why the home fits, understand the important tradeoffs, feel comfortable with the offer strategy, and have reviewed the known risks and next steps.
Slow down when the facts are incomplete
Excitement matters, but so do financing, disclosures, inspections, comparable sales, and contract terms. A good decision combines both.
